Learned tonight while Mary Poppins brigade fought Lord Voldemort for the souls of British children: 

My supervisor’s age-appropriate children do not read or watch Harry Potter. 

Generally speaking, only boring people and those weird people who think its a gateway into the occult and satanism don’t read or watch Harry Potter. 

I’m not really sure which he now falls into. 

Regardless, I need neither of those in my life. 

  1. melancholywise said: You know having been brought up in an awful fundamentalist church community, I’m oddly grateful for Harry Potter. It was the first thing I argued in favour of against the religious hierarchy and doing so helped me to learn critical thinking.
